James Introcaso, MCDM Productions

Who?
MCDM Productions is a publishing company focused on tabletop role-playing gaming.
Tabletop role-playing gaming is an intergenerational hobby, and is also sometimes known as pen-and-paper roleplaying games. As a genre, it has similarities to parlor games, miniature wargaming and strategy games, theater, and creative history re-enactments. The most well known tabletop game in the US is Dungeons and Dragons (owned by Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro) which just celebrated its 50th anniversary. Draw Steel, by MCDM Productions, has been on ENWorld’s Most Anticipated TTRPGs of 2025 list and Game Informer’s Best Tabletop RPGs of 2025 list.
What?
Katriel assisted with the Draw Steel core books, including integrating accessibility checks like reading order, PDF structure, and screen reader testing for over 800 pages. Katriel also designed alt-text, using museum standards for art adopted by MCDM Productions, for the Delian Tomb adventure and other adventures.
How?
Adobe InDesign was the main tool used. Along with the layout lead, we used the Articles pane, structural tag tree, and other tools and manual checks to include as much of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and the Cooper Hewitt description guidelines as possible.
Accessibility and Access Management: Delinea
Whether she was testing our applications, helping sales representatives answer RFP’s or working on a specific new feature, Katriel brought a deep understanding of accessibility regulations (such as WCAG) and a passion for ensuring that our products and services were usable by everyone, regardless of ability.
Kristi Colvin, Delinea (Former)
Delinea is a privilege / identity access management B2B company, providing a number of tools and platforms to aid in reducing attack vectors, enforce policies, etc.

What?
Katriel spearheaded accessibility and usability efforts throughout multinational PAM SaaS company, working closely with UX and Engineering, & throughout all product cycle stages.
They also protected complex client relationships of contracts with problem-loss value of $67M, regarding identified accessibility issues & enterprise concerns.
How?
JIRA, Confluence, NVDA for Windows, Axe-core, and more were the tools used, as well as a lot of grit!
Due to iterative client feedback & internal initiatives, they led accessibility improvements of 2 flagship privilege access management task platforms from zero to successfully integrating Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) criteria at 2.2 levels A and AA. This in turn standardized issues raised by clients, aligned the platforms to international standards (WCAG, Section 508, and the EN 301 549), and improved client relationships.
They contributed accessibility notes & shared resources freely to colleagues, contributing to the internal design system and usage annotations to internal components library. Katriel also created a reference guide for sales to help in answering common accessibility-related proposal questions, and advised positioning accessibility & usability as competitive factors for product differentiation in the industry space.
Why?
Previously, clients faced frustrating hurdles as they attempted to use our product—screen reader users struggled to access key features, while others found critical actions unreachable via keyboard. These pain points not only stalled onboarding but forced clients to reconsider our product as a viable partner. After Katriel was involved, the clients were able to share measurable accessibility improvements against raised issues, with improved internal and external communication regarding standards, milestones, and timelines, and Delinea was able to re-establish confidence that our product supported their accessibility mandates, strengthening our relationships and improving business outcomes.
